Pictured here, in this 1963 image, was an emaciated, brindle-colored boxer, which had been ill with a disseminated histoplasmosis infection, due to the fungal organism, Histoplasma capsulatum, and which was confirmed, by a positive serology test. See PHIL 16889 and 21841, for two other views of this sick canine.
