Caption:
This image depicts a close view of a patient’s proximal penis revealing the presence of a number of lesions in the bilateral inguinal lesion, which after conducting a differential diagnostic study, was determined to be a case of granuloma inguinale, and not syphilis, caused by Calymmatobacterium granulomatis. These lesions result in surface destruction, and granuloma formation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue.
