This photomicrograph reveals some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by a cleistothecium of the fungus, Nannizzia incurvata. This close view highlights the organism’s macroconidia, and its filamentous, hyaline, septate hyphae. Note the spirally twisted hypha in the center.
