This image depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate, which contained an unidentified growth medium that had been inoculated with the fungal organism of the genus, Geotrichum. Note the characteristic velvety, white colored, slightly folded colonial surface. The colony exhibited a typically smooth, suede-like texture, and a white coloration.
