Under a magnification of 475X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism of the genus Trichoderma. Note the septate, hyaline, filamentous hyphae, and conidiophores, from which flask-shaped phialides sprouted in a perpendicular fashion, which were topped by small clusters of globose conidia.
