Under a magnification of 1200X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism of the genus Trichoderma. Note the septate, hyaline filamentous hyphae, and conidiophores from which flask-shaped phialides sprout in a perpendicular fashion, which are topped by small clusters of globose conidia.
