Under a magnification of 475X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by a fungal organism of the genus, Syncephalastrum. Note the filamentous, nonseptate, hyaline hyphae, as well as a number of vesicles, two of which still exhibiting their full complement of merosporangia, while three others had liberated their conidia that were free floating in the field of view.
