Under a magnification of 800X, this photomicrograph of a heart muscle tissue specimen, revealed the presence of a myocyte within which you are able to see an intranuclear inclusion body, in a case of diphtheritic myocarditis, which resulted from a Corynebacterium diphtheriae bacterial infection.
