This image depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate, which had contained a Sabouraud dextrose agar growth medium that had been inoculated with a fungal organism of the genus, Cryptococcus. After having undergone an unidentified incubation period, the culture gave rise to this single, bilobar-shaped colony, which displayed an overall white coloration.
