This image depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate, which had contained an unknown growth medium that had been inoculated with a fungal organism, Aspergillus clavatus. After having undergone a 15-day incubation period, the culture gave rise to this single, large, granular colony, which displayed an bluish-green central coloration, and a beige periphery.
