This image depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate, which had contained a Sabouraud dextrose agar growth medium that had been inoculated with a fungal organism of the genus, Acremonium, formerly known as Cephalosporium. After having undergone an unidentified incubation period, the culture gave rise to this single, large, downy colony, which displayed an overall buff, off-white coloration.
