Under a magnification of 100X, this photomicrograph of a fat-stained liver tissue specimen, revealed the presence of cytoarchitectural changes indicative of fatty degeneration. With its affinity for fats, note how the fat-stain, had stained the vacuolated triglycerides a red color, which as you can see, was quite prevalent in this fatty liver section.
