Since 2006, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Global Disease Detection Centers, have established over 380 laboratory diagnostic tests in national, or local laboratories. With his gloved hand, this laboratory technician was holding up three capped glass vials, each containing a different colored fluid, the results of one such test.
