Entitled, “HIV/AIDS Pathway Project II, India”, this image was captured by CDC Associate Director for External Relations and Public Health Practice, Dr. Richard Keenlyside, in the Global AIDS Program in NCHSTP. The photo reflected CDC’s work with Pathway, a project to improve the quality of life for people infected with, or affected by HIV/AIDS, in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, India. The photograph earned Richard a tie for the First Place award in the 2005 CDC Connects Annual Public Health in Action Photo Contest. The image was part of a photo essay entitled, “Pathway Project, HIV/AIDS”.
