Captured in 2015, by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) staff member, Audilis Sanchez, this image depicted Miguel Ocaña, Officer-in-Charge of CDC’s Washington, DC Quarantine Station, and Lead Ambassador, Gloria Everett, of CDC’s Check and Report Ebola (CARE) program, as they were walking at daybreak, to start the entry screening operations at Dulles International Airport. During the 2014-2016, Ebola epidemic, CDC Quarantine Stations, coordinated enhanced entry risk assessment of travelers from countries with Ebola outbreaks at five U.S. International airports: Atlanta, Chicago, New York (JFK), Newark, and Washington, DC (Dulles) . This picture was an entry in the 2016 CDC Connects, Public Health in Action Photo Contest, in the category of Programs-Domestic.
