Caption:
This image depicted a close view of a female patient’s groin, revealing a suprapubic cutaneous lesion in the midline, which had manifested, due to a case of what was referred to as Wegener's granulomatosis (WG), a form of inflammation, affecting blood vessels, i.e., vasculitis, as well as other tissues. The defect on the right, looked to have possibly been a site of surgical intervention, maybe a biopsy site, judging from the presence of two surgical sutures.
