The public health field worker depicted in this historic 1964 photograph, was in the process of spraying an insecticidal chemical over a number of receptacles, that could potentially be used as Aedes aegypti mosquito breeding sites. The image was created during the Aedes aegypti Eradication Project, which was taking place in Savannah, Georgia.
