This historic 1943 image, depicted Entomologist, Dr. Robert L. Usinger, of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS), entering one of the buildings, on the grounds of the Carter Memorial Laboratory, located in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Usinger was a renown hemipterist, who specialized in the study of plant bugs, which were members of the insect family Miridae.
