Usinger, of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS), entering one of the buildings, on the grounds of the Carter Memorial Laboratory, located in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Usinger was a renown hemipterist, who specialized in the study of plant bugs, which were members of the insect family Miridae.
