This 2016 image, depicted a pregnant woman standing in an outdoor setting, while putting on a long-sleeved sweater. Long-sleeved shirts and pants, cover exposed skin, and can protect against mosquito bites - the primary way Zika is spread. The risk of Zika is of greatest concern for pregnant women, who can pass Zika to their developing fetus, if infected during pregnancy.
