This image from 1967, depicted the former Chief of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s, (CDC) Laboratory Branch, U. Pentti Kokko, MD, DrPH, FAPHA, seated fourth from the left, and seated to his left, former U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Assistant Surgeon General, Richard Prindle, MD, MPH. The image was captured, as these men, were seated around a conferencing table, discussing an unknown topic. Dr. Kokko, and Dr. Prindle appeared to be enjoying a humorous remembrance, as they laughed together, while other conference participants looked on.
