Caption:
This close, right posterior-oblique view of a 4-year-old girl’s right buttock, revealed the presence of a vesiculobullous rash, composed of numerous, fluid-filled blisters, which had been the result of a condition known as dermatitis herpetiformis (DH). These papulovesicular lesions are said to be intensely itchy, and are long-standing, being that this is a chronic condition. See PHIL 21515, and 21517, for other views of this patient’s condition.
