This Petri dish culture plate contained plain Sabouraud agar growth medium, which had been left on a rooftop of one of the buildings on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Roybal campus, for a period of 30-minutes, then incubated at a temperature of 37°C, for an unidentified length of time. The plate produced a number of colonies of airborne microorganisms.
