Under a magnification of 13X, this image depicted a Petri dish culture plate, which contained a growth medium of blood heart infusion (BHI) agar that had been inoculated with a sample of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, formerly Corynebacterium ovis, bacteria. Incubated for a 3-day time period, the culture gave rise to these two bacterial colonies.
