This image was created in November 2014, by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Scientist, Aaron Sussell, PhD, MPH, and depicted a scenario that took place during a CDC Rapid Ebola Preparedness (REP) team visit to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). In this view, one laboratory worker in the background was demonstrating the proper method used, when donning one’s personal protective equipment (PPE), while the man in the foreground was showing us the correct procedure that would be used when transporting Ebola patient biological fluid samples. This was one of the entries in the 2015 CDC Connects, Public Health in Action Photo Contest.
