This dorsal view of a patient’s right forearm and hand, revealed a cluster of boils, or carbuncles, located primarily on the hand and wrist, which had manifested during a cutaneous anthrax infection, caused by the bacterium, Bacillus anthracis. See PHIL 20868, for a lateral view of this condition.
