Caption:
This image depicts a dorsal view of a Latrodectus bishopi, or red widow spider with its red-orange cephalothorax, and black abdomen, adorned with orange circles, each outlined with a light-yellow ring. Though not visible from this dorsal view, the ventral surface of its abdomen did not exhibit the red hourglass-shaped mark, commonly found on its cousin the black widow, but instead, displayed one or two small red marks.
