This image depicted the left thigh from the lateral perspective, and shows us the gangrenous lesion known as pyoderma gangrenosum, from which Pseudomonas sp. bacteria had been cultured. This child was also ill with a case of Pseudomonas meningitis, and had been in a state of opisthotonos. No fungal organisms were cultured from this lesion.
