Caption:
This photomicrograph depicted a number of characteristically globose-shaped, primary conidia, produced by the fungal organism, Conidiobolus coronatus, formerly known as Entomophthora coronata. Some of the primary conidia had begun the process of secondary replication by having grown small papillae-like conidiophores from their exterior, which were topped by another growing, secondary conidium.
