The epidemiologists shown here, were seated inside their hotel room, in the process of sorting, and counting mosquitoes for an arbovirus study, which had been trapped outside in a region suspected of harboring arboviral pathogens. Often, during field studies like this one, makeshift laboratories are assembled wherever, or whenever the need arises, even including inside a hotel room.
