Under a magnification of 570X, and viewed using a fluorescent antibody (FA) staining technique, which implemented a Cryptococcus neoformans conjugate stain, this photomicrograph revealed the presence of Candida curvata, glowing blue-green fungal organisms. Note that these organisms were undergoing the method of reproduction known as budding.
