Under a magnification of 450X, and viewed using a fluorescent antibody (FA) staining technique, this photomicrograph revealed the presence of Cryptococcus neoformans, strain-B551 organisms, as evidenced by these glowing green fungal cells. This grouping was actually composed of two pairs of budding cells, and a single, C. neoformans cell.
