This image depicted a human heart that had been partially dissected in order to expose its interior structures, and endocardial lining within the right side of the heart. Of importance, were the fibrotic changes seen in the tricuspid valve leaflets, and the right ventricular lining, due to a condition known as endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF).
