This photomicrograph revealed ultrastructural histopathologic changes, caused by the fungal organism, Phialophora jeanselmei, also known as Exophiala jeanselmei. Of importance, was this granule, within which you could see P. jeanselmei morphologic elements. For enlargements of this section, see PHIL 20238 and 20239.
