After a time period of 48-hours, the right ventral forearm of this patient revealed a reddened region of skin, which had developed in response to an injection of Bartonella henselae bacterial antigen, producing this positive reaction to what was a cat-scratch disease (CSD), Hanger-Rose skin test.
