Photographed in May 2013, this image depicted Haitian Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) resident, Bernateau Margarette, in the process of measuring the height of a Haitian study participant, ensuring that his body was flat against the measuring board, in order to obtain the most accurate value. This study included the completion of a questionnaire, as depicted in PHIL 19708. These activities were part of a knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) study, that was performed in the urban area of Ennery, in order to determine the prevalence of arterial hypertension. The three main activities of the study included the KAP interview, blood pressure recording, as well as the measurement of participants’ height and weight.
