Captured between May and June, 2014, during an investigation into an outbreak of a rash affecting newly-recruited Mongolian soldiers, these Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) trainees were in the process of conducting an epidemiologic investigation beginning with the completion of a trainee-directed questionnaire from each soldier.
Additional Information:
The FETP trains workers on the ground to help countries build sustainable capacity for detecting and responding to health threats. The program develops in-country expertise so that disease outbreaks can be detected locally and prevented from spreading.
