Depicted in this 1966 image, was this rural residence located in Raymond, Colorado was suspected as the 1957 location where a girl had contracted human plague, and died in Wichita Falls, Texas. Note the heavily wooded setting, which was the perfect habitat for the mammals normally associated with hosting plague vectors. See PHIL 19568, for another view of this home.
