This photomicrograph of a Papanicolaou test, or Pap test, revealed findings categorized as being non-diagnostic, and a probable example of a low-grade squamous cell dysplasia. Note the presence of numerous small, purple-staining, white blood cells (WBCs), known as leukocytes in the field of view.
