Caption:
This photograph was created for a project that would educate viewers studying the modes of transmission that could possibly lead to the transfer of Staphylococcus sp. bacteria in a clinical setting. Here, a clinician’s ungloved hand was holding a thermometer, and you’ll note that there is a lesion on the third knuckle (arrowhead), which was to represent an active staphylococcal lesion.
