Caption:
This image depicts a left anterior-oblique view of a cow that had been diagnosed with a case of bovine malignant lymphoma, also known as lymphosarcoma, and was exhibiting generalized inanition, which means a state of exhaustion, or weakness due to a lack of nutrition caused by starvation. Also note the left prescapular swelling that was determined to be an enlarged, adenopathic lymph node (red arrowhead). The suture line superficial to the neoplasm, was probably the site of a tissue biopsy.
