Captured during the necropsy of a cow that had been diagnosed with a case of bovine malignant lymphoma, also known as lymphosarcoma, this image revealed pathologic changes that included involvement of the pelvic canal tissues, and a distended bladder. This bovine specimen had been exhibiting generalized inanition, which means a state of exhaustion, or weakness due to a lack of nutrition caused by starvation.
