This image depicts a left posterior-oblique view of a cow that had been diagnosed with a case of bovine malignant lymphoma, also known as lymphosarcoma, and was exhibiting generalized inanition, which means a state of exhaustion, or weakness due to a lack of nutrition, caused by starvation. Also note the prescapular swelling that was determined to be an enlarged, adenopathic lymph node (red arrowhead).
