This photograph depicts a left anterior-oblique view of a sculpted bust of the Goddess Hygeia, the Greek Goddess of Health. This carved marble sculpture was presented to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), by Dr. John E. Skandalakis, on December 18, 1970, and is now on display on the CDC’s Roybal Campus, located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.
