This image depicts a very close ventral view of a patient’s glans penis in the area of the preputial frenulum. Note the presence of what is termed a small, soft erosive lesion, located on the frenulum, which was diagnosed as a case of early lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) infection, caused by the bacterium, Chlamydia trachomatis.
