During his September 16, 2014 visit to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), former President Barack Obama was updated on the steps CDC, and the rest of our government, were taking here and abroad, to fight Ebola globally, and keep the American people safe. At this point in the gathering, standing at the podium, the President was addressing a group of CDC personnel, discussing with the audience the future efforts to be made by the United States, and the World, to combat the West African Ebola epidemic, and his sincere appreciation, for the hard work put forth by CDC staff.
