This image depicts a close view of the left inguinal region of a patient who had presented with this inguinal lymphadenopathy, in a case of what was determined to be lymphogranuloma venereum. It is important to note the presence of a groove sign, caused by the extreme swelling of the lymph nodes pressing against the taught inguinal ligament, which causes a groove to form on the skin surface.
