This historic photograph was captured in 1976, and depicts the bust of Hygeia, the Greek Goddess of Health, which stood in front of what was formerly Building 1, on the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Roybal Campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Later the organization would be renamed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in October, 1992.
