Caption:
This image depicted a close left anterior-oblique view of a patient’s face, highlighting the left eye, which exhibited a complication associated with a case of lepromatous leprosy, which under the newer World Health Organization (WHO) standards, is classified as multibacillary (MB), leprosy. In this case, the cornea of her left eye had become clouded, referred to as exposure keratitis, leading to blindness in that eye. See PHIL 17462, for another view of this patient's left eye pathology.
