This 1966 photograph was captured somewhere inside the zone of the John Fitch Way, General Neighborhood Renewal Plan (GNRP), located in Mercer County, New Jersey, in the city of Trenton, and depicted a garbage can that contained refuse, which had been colonized by newly hatched fly larvae, also known as maggots. This population of flying disease vectors, should have been better controlled.
