This image depicts an anterior view of a female patient’s torso, revealing the presence of a macular rash that was dispersed over her truck region and arms. After performing a differential diagnostic evaluation, this rash proved to be due to a case of secondary syphilis, caused by the bacterial spirochete, Treponema pallidum.
